And Then We Went To Lunch

It snowed sporadically on Sunday, the 12th. With the wind, it made for icy roads

The desire to make things right, to try to figure out what one single issue created the problem, correct that issue and thereby get everything back on track, is a powerful one.

It's easy to think; "If only we could somehow get beyond that, get around it, leave it behind...everything would be just like it was in the beginning...all rainbows and unicorns."

However, there are times, and certain issues, that can never be fully righted, even if the cause of the rift is determined and corrected.

Because your eyes have been opened, and sometimes, what has been learned about a person, someone you were intimate with, someone you cared for and trusted, cannot be unlearned.

Sometimes, all you can do is move on, start a new chapter, or maybe even a whole new book.

Sometimes you lose things you treasured and thought were absolutely essential to your happiness, things you once thought were meant to be, things you thought would last forever...well, sometimes you lose those things and they were meant to be lost.

Too vague?
