Last week the state officially declared the drought was over.
Immediately following that announcement came the first ninety-degree plus day of the year, followed by several more. Almost a weeks worth. But today the heavy clouds moved back in and right around 7:30 in the evening a hard rain fell for a bit over a half hour.
Which was nice, as I was getting concerned I might have to water my lawn for the first time since October of 2014.
