Someone is setting off fireworks
On the twenty-second of August
And not those little annoying cap-gun pissers
But M-80's and Flaming Fountains and Chinese Whizzers
Getting every dog in the neighborhood all riled up
A cacophonous symphony of barks and howls
Boom! Boom! Boom! The dogs are starting to riot
Is it too much to ask for a little peace and quiet?
