If The World Were Handing Out Refunds
There was a woman
A long, long time ago
Who I thought moved my world
Like
No
Other
Could
But it wasn't her moving my world
It was just living in California
Where the world moves of it's own accord
Without
A
Single
Care
Couldn't see that clearly then
Couldn't see the forest for the reality
That was growing up all around me
Like
It
Always
Does
Time and mistakes make for experience
And experience is the greatest teacher
The trick is surviving the mistakes
Time
After
Unforgiving
Time
