  1. I love Manitou, and Rockey! He was a precious, playful, loving man. I am honored to have known him. I miss him. Manitou will never be the same without him...

Once, as I was walking down Canon Ave from the Crystal Wizard with a large faery print (the owner finally allowed me to have after a year or two of asking if I could please purchase it). Rockey stopped me- wanting to see what I was carrying hoe (Deer Path). I happily showed him and he said: "Come see me soon. I'll show you the fairy I just painted." We hugged and were both off in opposite directions. I was unexpectedly away from Manitou for a while, and regret not visiting him, sooner, as when I next saw him and asked about it, he no longer remembered the painting...

Moral: Don't let too much time pass/spend time with those that you love. They won't always be around.

I love Rockey and Manitou... both forever tattooed upon my soul.

  2. Rockey was indeed one of those rare souls who definitely left the world a much better place than he found it.
