The Anger In His Smile

 He had been born to a woman who had been impregnated by a man who left them within twenty minutes of her giving him the news.

Growing up with the knowledge that he had been unwanted by his father and grudgingly accepted as another of life's burden's by his mother, he developed a pronounced uncertainty about everything and everyone. 

That, and the anger. The constantly simmering anger, is what defined him.
