Cat tree that looks like a tree
Thinking about building one of those cat condo dealios, but in the form of a tree.
It shouldn't be too difficult, just get a bit of lumber, nails, some carpet, industrial glue, and a staple gun.
Sketched the idea out, though I haven't drawn up actual blueprints.
Maybe get a focus group of cats, run it past them before making a big commitment to time and materials.
Many cat trees use poles covered with cord, which cats love to use to do their claws. So by selecting such a cat tree, you will also offer your cat a place to do its claws and it will be much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThank's for the suggestion. I've been trying to figure out how to make the trunk and branches look more tree-like and wrapping rope around would look much better than carpet! I'll post pics when I get this done (hopefully of a happy cat with it).
