Three Chinese sages who had fled
The court of Liu Pang
Did Empress Lu deftly persuade to come to her son's aide
(with the help of old Chang Liang)
Liu Pang was duly amazed and so to her pleas he caved
Ensuring the next Emperor would be her child
Unfortunately, when her boy took the throne
He was so beguiled he soon became reviled
Instead of attending to matters of court
Son Hui preferred to wear make up and consort
With young boys in the pleasure garden
When his mother demonstrated a sadistic streak
Hui was revolted and turned to drink
Empress Lu shed no tears when it led to his demise
She took control with her brothers as Generals
(Chiang Pi-Chiang helped with the transition)
For nearly eight years she ruled with an iron fist
Mercilessly killing any and all opposition
Finally the sun cast it's last rays on her death bed
Which allowed a few brave ministers to take over
They saw to it her brothers and all other relatives
Were slaughtered
Taking no chances whatsoever
