Ice, Ice, Ducky

What do ducks and geese think when they land on ice for the first time? Is it mind-blowing for them? Are there ducks and/or geese who totally lose it when they first land on ice?

And what about the fish? Are they looking up through the ice at the ducks and/or geese thinking: "WTF? Do those birds now have some kind of weird hovering ability?
