Somewhere in the badlands of Utah, October 2006
Everybody's starving
For the right word
But lately we've all been accepting table scraps
Consisting of meaningless phrases
Blind man staring
At what he overheard
Waiting for civilizations inevitable collapse
While dancing with the three Graces
Glenn Campbell is traveling a lonesome river
Trying to get lucky
With a woman who has a cold heart
She's a dead giveaway in her short skirt
That quiver in his voice makes her shiver
Takes her away from being a junkie
She's not lonesome
But she'll play the part
A cheap dinner
Followed by
Expensive
Dessert
