Old man scowling at the kid
Kid wonders what the hell he did
Old doesn't have a reason for his hate
Has no sound reason to denigrate
But can't help himself
Sees the kid as a reprobate
Old man hates the way the kid
Cuts his hair
The music he listens too
Clothes he wears
Lives like nothing's taboo
Doesn't work, doesn't care
Isn't tough enough, can't make do
Old man can't remember when
He was the young man
