He had no compunctions about
Letting one and all know he was not happy
Didn't matter if it was a minor or a major matter
You'd have to watch a Roth film to experience uglier splatter
Yet, if he was having a great time, enjoying his day
He was prone to keeping that to himself like a dark secret
No one ever heard him proclaim that it was a great time to be alive
That was information he kept in some heavily guarded archive
