PPDoubleD-40
She was passionate in her writing
Liked to spice up her lines with foreign phrases
Maybe throw in a Portuguese expression of disgust
If she was feeling particularly pissed off
Changed her name
To a not-so-clever pun
Based on her female anatomy
And a Russian machine gun
She made up stories about her past
Hoped no one would ever discover
That her family lived in the Upper East Side
Lived her life like a bohemian Jekyll and Hyde
Some say it wasn't drugs, it was the man
Though it was a bit of a stretch to consider
As a strung-out alkie living on the streets
That any government would be afraid of her
Thought she was going to be the next big thing
Told everyone who would listen that she was the best
Cops said she was just another junkie with a guitar
Found cold in an alley clutching a copy of The Bell Jar
