Damn Skippy!
It is possible that time is endless, as in it will truly never end. None of us of course will ever know that with certainty, as none of us are endless. We are all very, very finite, and by that I mean we all come to an end, eventually.
Such is the nature of our existence that we are decaying every single second. Our corporeal being is temporary, and as far as can be proven, so is our non-corporeal being. All of our thoughts, all of our emotions, every single sensation that we have ever experienced, well, one day it's all just going to...dissipate.
It'll all be gone, returned to the chemical basis of life, the elements oxygen and carbon, but in a non-sentient form, just a pile of organic compounds.
Happy thoughts to ponder for a Friday evening. I probably shouldn't have had that slice of cheesecake. Cheesecake always gets me thinking of just how fragile our lives truly are.
