It Was Hot On The 4th Of July
It seemed to have been over ninety for the entire month of June, and July was following suit. Of course that was an exaggeration, possibly brought on by the relentless heat...man, it was hot.
Still, went to work (holiday hours) as usual, then came home to a neighborhood of bar-be-ques and fireworks. Blues Traveler were playing Red Rocks, but there was also a thunderstorm moving in - which eventually would drop a light rain on the city, cooling everything down just a bit.
JH made delicious street tacos and some variation of sauerkraut that was just as delicious. We hung out in the garage for awhile watching videos of awesome things athletic humans can do, and drank a few beers.
And so it went on the 242nd anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence that established the United States of America.
