The Camel's Back Collapsed
He actually thought he had a shot
Of at least getting his foot in the door
She was on her toes and wasn't about to I suppose
Believe anything he said anymore
He acted surprised and yelled the girl had lied
Claimed he'd never seen her before
She wasn't a fool, she kept her cool
And simply told him she knew the score
He begged and cried said without her he'd be dead
Said he'd changed and this he swore
She held her ground, wasn't buying his old runaround
The deceit was too big to ignore
And that, she said, is how she found herself on the Costa Del Sol enjoying the Mediterranean sun and having fun...guilt free.
