Spotting The Potential
She sat there at the table looking out the window
Feeling like the loneliest woman in the world
The cup of coffee in front of her growing cold
As she thought about the different life she could have lived
If she had only learned to spot the potential
Some opportunities offer the chance to win
Some opportunities almost guarantee you'll lose
Everything's a risk so you have to learn to calculate the odds
And the potential that everything could go wrong
Or possibly right
