I say "That is sad, but life is sad for many people; no, I was not wondering how well you were. Why would you think that I would care about that? Do you care about all those other people? No, I was wondering if you had any clue as to how you can possible exist. How is it that you are?"
ReplyDeleteThat is one response I hadn't actually considered. I was thinking of something more along the lines of, "Well then, guess you have a lot of good times to look forward to, eh?" - spoken in a half joking but also serious tone.
