This little kid, 10, maybe 11 years old, came up to me at the airport and said, "I like your shirt."
I was wearing a black T-shirt that featured the cover artwork for the Ramones fourth album, Road To Ruin, which was the second Ramones album I ever purchased.
It's the cover art that was modified by John Holmstrom to replace the drawing by Gus MacDonald of Tommy on the drums with a drawing of Marky.
That album is 47-years old this year. It amazes me when little kids not only recognize bands that I was into during the long-gone days of my misspent youth, but are also really into them.
There can only be one explanation for that phenomena, and that is of course, good parenting.
